L Series
CompAir’s L Series offers a comprehensive range of lubricated screw compressors from 2 to 250 kW with airflows from 0.24 to 47 m3/min and pressure ranges from 5 to 13 bar. Premium Airend
All L Series compressors feature a premium efficiency airend that has been specifically designed and manufactured in Germany, offering the highest quality of compressed air possible at the lowest rotational speed. The semi-integrated airend design helps to facilitate the compact size of the compressor and eliminate the risk of leakage whilst also offering simplified maintenance. All of CompAir’s airends are covered by their generous 10-year warranty and up to 44,000 hours of service.

Fixed and Variable Speed Options
The L Series 7 – 290kW models are all available as either fixed or variable speed units. You should assess your plant demand to identify what type of speed drive will offer you the best levels of efficiency, or if a combination of both will be the most effective!
Fixed speed machines can only produce a fixed amount of air per minute. This is great for applications where the amount of air produced matches the requirements. If it does not, however, it can lead to a lot of wasted energy which can be very costly. Variable speed units can fluctuate the input energy to meet demand and thus eliminate waste. This offers a much more efficient solution if your application has varying air demands.
